Neuromuscular Therapy for the Neck /12Hr

Service Description

You will be learning how to incorporate neuromuscular therapy (a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle) into massaging the neck. We will explore the Muscle Energy Technique (Active Isolated Stretching) by Aaron Mattes as well as other techniques, such as PNF. This class will take you through the basics of the head, neck, and upper back. We will discuss the various types of headaches and how to release each type. Tables and linens are provided.
